Your game got reviewed on the arcane cache, an utmost underground blog for underground games:
You walk through various dream-scenes, crossing silent forests, shadowy temples, cold cities, floating palaces… These images and scenes are phenomenal, and the great strength of this game – they are creative, strange, and beautifully realized...Quantum Origination is a great game, and one can tell that a lot of time and thought was invested into this. The level of detail, the craftsmanship used in its creation, and the creativity of the shown world make it a unique game in every aspect, and one of the best „psychedelic“ games I can remember playing.
Thank you for the kind words, your article was a lovely read! Its a shame though because, I’m currently working on a complete rework of the game due out in October! I hope you revisit it sometime!
If I'm not mistaken, you are generally interested in surreal/acid art? If you want, fire me an E-Mail: contact@thunderperfectwitchcraft.org ; we can exchange recommendations :).
Hi Scrib-Dev, I'm creating something similar for an assignment of mine, so I just wanted to know what platform you used to make the game and roughly how long it took you to make the game. Thanks so much!
Hey there!
I use the Unity engine to make this. The first version which was the one I made for the game jam took 3 months of building a few hours a day. The current version that I’m working on now I’ve been chipping away at for around 5 months of the same, a few hours a day.
I hope you do well with your assignment! If you end up releasing what you make I’d love to give it a go! :D
Yeah, one of my other projects Nyt-Net ended up taking longer than expected so I’m focusing on getting it done and out of the way before I move on to this!
This is one of the higher effort LSD Dream Emulator inspired games out there. I really appreciated the original characters and music that were created for this! I found it hard to put down because I kept wanting to discover more
My only complaint is that pressing the ESC key instantly quits the game. When streaming, it's common to press ESC in order to bring back the cursor to click something in another monitor, but here it instantly quits, making you lose all of your progress. This happened to me twice and it was very frustrating! I would have also appreciated being able to hold Shift to run, because some of the larger areas become tiresome to walk across after I had explored them already
Thanks for playing and the feedback! I do have a plan to add a confirm feature as I have that currently in Eggular and Nyt-Net. Once I've finished the next big update for this game it will have a confirm before exiting.
The worlds are getting a redesign in the next update to better reflect my dreams, but also to use new dev techniques I've learned. It should hopefully fix the sprint issue. I'm a firm believer of the standard movement speed should be sprint speed... Especially if the inclination is to hold sprint a lot while playing.
Finally, something you might be interested to know, I'm gonna be bringing VR support to this game as well. I noticed you had few videos on your channel about it. I think it will be a pretty unique experience! I hope you check it out when it comes out. At this point, I'm thinking it will likely be near the beginning of next year! Thanks again :D
hey scrib, in the next update, can you make optional the filter? when i play my monitor is low resolution, the game just became ultra pixelated compared to images
Fantastic walking sim. Literally took me 3 days to find all the orbs, but it was a great experience. I needed to make a map for this that's so fucking big that itch.io won't even let me upload it so I had to put it on imgur instead. Very good work, dev.
Thank you! This is really impressive, your attention to detail is really admirable! Thank you for taking the time to play and map this out. I appreciate the feedback too! I hope you'll be back for the update next year ^^
I like the idea you're going for in this game, I especially liked the vaporwave area that's being pieced together from dreams in Quantum Eternity, in fact a lot of levels from Eternity looks like they can be combined as if they were fragments of larger dreams...
That's a part of what I'm trying to do in this game! I wanted to create a sense of familiarity while also feeling different in this game. Similar to how places can seem that way in dreams. Additionally, merging the levels into one was something I wanted to do in QE but couldn't due to the way my level loader worked. Thanks for noticing though! I was hoping it would come across! :D

Great game loved Quantum Eternity and this is just as good.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoy my games, I'm hoping to make this one as big as Quantum Eternity so stay tuned ;D
Not sure if it's just something on my end or game, but the mouse pointer is always visible in game. no big deal though. 10/10 game so far
The mouse pointer should now lock in the latest version! Glad you enjoyed it! :D
